SLS Format Changes

  • Knock-Out Round - Top Skater advances from each heat
  • 2 - 45 second runs - Best Run Score Counts, limited to 1 run score

2:4:2 - 1:2 (2022)

  • 2 - 45 second runs
  • 4 - Best Trick Attempts
  • The bottom four skaters are eliminated
  • Super Final - 2 - Best Trick Attempts for remaining skaters

1:4:2 - 3 (2021)

  • 1 - 45 second runs
  • 4 - Best Trick Attempts
  • The bottom four skaters are eliminated

  • Top 3 scores from any section count

2:5 - 4 (2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015)

  • 2 - 45 second runs
  • 5 - Best trick attempts
  • Top 4 scores from any section count

2:4:6 - 1:1:4 (2014 - 2012)

  • Flow Section - Best 45-second run
  • Impact Section - Best impact section attempt
  • Control Section - Top 4 scores from the control section

5:7:5 - 1:5:7 (2011)

  • Tech Section - Best Tech Section attempt
  • Line Section - Cumulative score across all two trick lines
  • Big Section - Cumulative score across all big section attempts

7:7:7:7 - Cumulative - Every Score Counts - (2010)

  • 7 Creative Attempts
  • 7 Line Attempts
  • 7 Technical Attempts
  • 7 Big Section Attempts
